POOL A
Having fallen to defending champions New Zealand in their last outing, Wales will be eager for victory over Japan on Thursday.
With the Baby Blacks taking on the Australians, who sit only two points above Wales in the pool, a triumph over Japan could be enough to see them finish second in the group.
They will then have to wait and see whether that will be good enough for the best runners-up spot which is synonymous with a place in the top four. With that in mind, a bonus point will probably be needed against a Japan side which has lost two from two so far.

POOL B
England lead the way in the pool containing three Under-20s Nations teams, and having powered past the Italians on Sunday Steve Bates' men will be confident ahead of their clash with Scotland, with their place in the last four all but guaranteed.
The Scottish are yet to be victorious in the competition, narrowly losing out to the Azzurrini by a point in the opening match and falling to the Pumitas on Sunday.
But having beaten the English in the Under-20s Six Nations, Scotland will hope to repeat the success and will be playing to avoid the bottom bracket in the play-offs.
Italy face Argentina with the second spot in the pool and a potential semi-final place up for grabs, as the two nations sit level on five points going into the final game.
The Azzurrini had kicked off their campaign with an impressive win against the Scots, but could not follow that up in Sunday's defeat to England.

Under-20s Six Nations champions Les Bleuets have the chance to top their pool with victory against leaders South Africa, as the French sit just one point behind the Baby Boks.
With nine points from their two wins so far, France will need to avoid defeat to guarantee a spot in the last four but go up against a South African team that has also won two out of two.
With Ireland and Georgia winless so far, Thursday's match will be crucial in the battle to make the 5-8 bracket in the play-offs.
The Irish finished third in the Under-20s Six Nations and will hope to show some of the quality that helped them conquer Italy, Wales and Scotland earlier in the year.
